Thomas Rubino, 61, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged Tuesday with felony grand larceny following an investigation into the theft of $14,623.48 from the business at 3845 Crompond Road, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
Between April 12, 2017, and April 10, 2018, Rubino stole the money by completing fraudulent merchandise returns and removing the money from the cash register at the store, police said.
After turning himself into police, Rubino was processed and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 22.
